Steve Hopwood is the founder and Co-Owner of Corsair Tactical Solutions and Co-Owner of the Alliance Training Team. A military veteran, Steve built CTS from the ground up on the belief that professional security is not just a service — it is a calling. His leadership is defined by the same discipline, accountability, and mission focus that military service demands.
As Training Director at North Star Arms and a multi-certified instructor across USCCA, NRA, and Texas DPS platforms, Steve brings a rare combination of operational depth and instructional excellence to every course he teaches. From first-time shooters in his First Shots beginner program to seasoned officers pursuing Level IV certification, Steve meets every student where they are and elevates them.
Steve has conducted church security reviews and audits across the DFW region and Wichita Falls, and holds all four active Texas DPS licenses that allow CTS to operate as a full-service security contracting, training, continuing education, and private investigation firm — one of very few companies in Texas with that complete footprint.

Hilton serves as Co-Chair of Aim For Safety at Cook Children's — a community safety initiative — and as Assistant Training Director at North Star Arms. His commitment extends from the range floor to the church aisle, having conducted church security reviews and audits across the region alongside the CTS team.
